While every effort is made to keep adequate quantities of all titles listed in the BRASS PLAYERS GUIDE on hand, there are genuine circumstances which are beyond the control of Robert King Music Sales, Inc. (or any printed music retailer, for that matter).

These include but are not limited to :
a) a title becoming temporarily or indefinitely out of print at the publisher or supplier.
b) not being informed that a title has been assigned to a contest list or competition.
c) a publisher or supplier suspending operation or going out of business.
d) a publisher or supplier is sold, thus interrupting the operation in the interim.
e) laws and agreements such as GATT (General Agreement on Trade and Tariff) which suspend the selling of certain titles.

At Robert King Music Sales, Inc. we are very much aware that these and other conditions can cause confusion, misinformation, incorrect perception and downright inconvenience. We believe it is always a good idea to have an alternative title or edition of a title in place should you encounter one of these snags.

Ordering Information

1. When ordering, please specify: quantity, composer, publisher, title and instrument(s) as listed in the Brass Players Guide.

2.  Payment must accompany all mail/fax or web orders. For FAX and snail mail you may send:

• a check/money order in USA funds drawn on a USA bank; otherwise there is a $20.00 charge for bank conversion. Sorry, we are unable to accept EURO CHEQUES.
• your MASTERCARD/VISA/AMEX number with expiration date and signature.

3. Customers can FAX orders with the MASTERCARD/VISA/AMEX number, expiration date and signature to one of our 24 HOUR FAX LINES - please use the printable order form.

4.  Institutional orders are welcome - we are thoroughly familiar with purchase order procedures.

5.  We are unable to confirm FAX transmissions. We are unable to return calls by voice from FAX.

6.  Shipping charge:

  • Priority Mail, add $7.00
  • UPS Ground, add $8.00

7. Orders amounting to $40.00 or more are shipped UPS. (street address required)

8. OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: You order will be sent by air mail. Shipping costs vary greatly and depend upon weight, destination and value.

9.  We can United Parcel Service (UPS) outside the United States. Please ask for a price quote.

10. Music ordered is not returnable unless defective. We do not grade music.

11.We do not send music on approval, consignment or trial.

12. In addition to music for brass instruments, ROBERT KING MUSIC SALES, INC. also stocks the publications of Alphonse Music Group and (Bornemann, Editions CY, Editions Musicales, Hamelle, Heugel, Editions Hortensia, Alphonse Leduc, Robert King Music Sales, Easton Music Company), in all categories, including winds, string, keyboard, etc.

13.  For brass ensemble music, we use a 5-digit instrumentation code as follows:

first digit   =   trumpet
second digit   =   horn
third digit   =   trombone
fourth digit   =   euphonium (baritone)
fifth digit   =   tuba

Thus, the code 211.01 indicates music for a brass quintet consisting of two trumpets, one horn, one trombone and one tuba.
